Winston-Salem, North Carolina-- Banned by the man on June 26th, 2002, the Chronic shirt went up in smoke.  By far the most interesting banned t-shirt of the PPC Line is the beloved Champion Chronic shirt.  Who doesn't love ganja?

"Chronic in our stylized lettering designates our trademark and creates negative and undesirable associations between our CHAMPION mark and the drug trade".  That being said, the representatives at PPC would argue the opposite.  One word, "MUNCHIES".   

According to UrbanDictionary, the munchies are "consumption of copious amounts of carbohydrates and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids after inhaling the byproduct of combusting the hemp plant."

Can't find the positive association with Champion to the drug trade yet?  It is important to note, the Champion brand is ironically owned by the Sara Lee corporation, the same company that pushes junk food.
